Jean-Paul Belmondo injured his head during the filming of this sequence and had to be taken to the hospital. The accident is clearly visible in the shot. To avoid reshooting the scene, the filmmakers added a dialogue in which the other characters briefly comment on Grimm’s unplanned injury.
