Tom Brand is a successful businessman, but he often has no time for his family. His daughter Rebecca is about to have her birthday, so he takes advice from workplace consultants to finally buy her what she wants, a cat. Coincidentally, an accident turns Tom into his gift, allowing him to see his family through the cat's eyes.
