Movie or TV Series Plot
Beverly Hills' most popular zip code—90210—is home to a group of popular high school students who attend West Beverly Hills High School.
Twin siblings Brandon (Jason Priestly) and Brenda (Shannon Doherty) must find their way in the new school, after moving from Minnesota.
The two make friends with a group from their school. Kelly (Jenny Garth) starts dating Brandon. Shannon falls for the mysterious and James Dean-type Dylan (Luke Perry).
The twins soon become part of a popular group that includes the school’s newspaper editor, Andrea (Gabrielle Carteris), the super-jock Steve (Ian Ziering), and the innocent Donna (Tori Spelling).
Each friend finds love and betrayal inside and out of their small group. New people threaten their dynamic, including a misunderstood Valerie (Tiffani-Amber Thiessen) and Steve’s rival David (Brian Austin Green).
Somehow the friends manage to keep it together, while dodging all that life throws at them.
Siblings Brandon (Jason Priestly) and Brenda (Shannen Dorety) have just moved with their family from quiet Minnesota to the money and sunshine of Beverly Hills, California. There, they attend Beverly Hills High School and form a solid group of friends that would stay together through college.
The story follows Brandon—the loyal do-gooder who’s far from perfect; Brenda –the rebel; Dylan (Luke Perry)—the thoughtful recluse; Kelly (Jennie Garth)—the self-absorbed brat; Donna (Tori Spelling)—the bubbly girl with many insecurities; Andrea (Gabrielle Carteris)—the smart overachiever; Steve (Ian Ziering)—the lazy jokester; and David (Brian Austin Green)—the adorable musician.
The characters deal with romance, heartbreak, and family quarrels, as well as more controversial and complex topics of drug abuse, suicide, teen pregnancy, alcoholism, and AIDS to name a few. As they fall in and out of love, and deal with conflict after conflict, each ordeal brings them closer together.
