Office space is a satire of the corporate world. Corporate drone Peter Gibbons hates the soul crushing monotony of his life working at software company Initech. Every day he has to endure fairly obvious, but mind numbing work and wants out. While undergoing hypnotherapy though, Peter is left in a blissful state when his therapist dies in the middle of his session. He refuses then to work overtime, turns to playing games at his desk, and unintentionally charms two consultants into putting on the management fast track. Though, when Peter's friends learn they're about to be downsized, they hatch a revenge plot against the company.
