Pretty Woman is a modern update on the classic tale of Cinderella. In the movie, a prostitute and a wealthy businessman fall in love with each other, and form an unlikely pair. It starts off with Edward on a business trip to L.A,, who makes a living as a businessman who buys other companies and liquidates them for profit. While out, he picks up a hooker, Vivian on a lark because of his job. Afterwards, Edward hires Vivian to stay with him for the weekend while he's there and the two of them get closer to one another despite the different worlds that they come from.
