Don Salluste is minister of finance for the Spanish crown. Greedy and vain, he uses his function to increase his fortune. Naturally he is despised by the whole population. However, as the Queen accuses him of having an illegitimate son with one of her maids, Salluste is deprived of all his titles and forced to retreat in a monastery. Furious he starts planning his revenge. He first asks his nephew, Don César to seduce the Queen. But the latter refuses and Salluste chooses his valet, Blaze introduce himself as Don César to the Queen in order to get her favors. But due to a chain of misunderstanding, Blaze only manages to seduce Doña Juana, one the Queen's maid, who is not particularly attractive.
